The Midlands Flower Wall Company story began in 2015 when our founder, Lucy, was tasked with planning a wedding and discovered a passion for event styling and sourcing unique event decoration. It wasn’t long before ‘Inspired Events’ was born, a creative service able to identify emerging event styling trends and bring them to market ahead of the curve.

From intimate weddings to large-scale productions, the team styled events of all shapes and sizes across the UK, including magical Christmas experiences aboard the UK’s Official Polar Express™. That same year, Inspired Events caught the attention of three major international brands, working behind the scenes on high-profile installations and pop-up displays for luxury retailers.

By 2016, after a busy year of creative styling, Lucy started exploring more impactful ways to create visual backdrops. The flower wall trend was gathering speed in the US but there wasn’t anything available on the UK market. Experimenting with different designs and attachment methods, she created a solution that was both beautiful and practical for events. Inspired Events became one of the very first companies in the UK to offer luxury artificial flowers for hire.

Our first collection of flower walls was an instant success. Clients loved the elegance and versatility they brought to weddings, parties and corporate functions. As demand grew, so did the business and it wasn’t long before Inspired Events evolved into Midlands Flower Wall Company, a name now recognised across the UK for premium, trend-led floral backdrops.

As the brand matured, so did the offering. We began working on permanent interior installations for commercial venues, giving businesses the wow factor with long-lasting artificial floral designs. Around the same time, we launched our online shop to allow customers to purchase our flower wall panels and artificial flower decor, perfect for venues wanting to DIY with a luxury finish and event styling experts wanting to add artificial flowers to their event hire inventory.
